Safety Specialist
The modern chain saw cuts through wood very quickly. When it breaks through the material, it can cut you. One of the best safeguards against serious cutting injuries is proper protective clothing and equipment. Wear sturdy, snug-fitting clothes that allow complete freedom of movement. Avoid wearing loose-fitting clothes and jewelry. Wear heavy-duty, nonslip gloves to improve your grip and protect your hands. Always wear sturdy nonslip boots to ensure good footing when operating a chain saw. Since chips fly in all directions when you are cutting with a chain saw, you should always wear safety glasses or goggles. A good hard hat may prevent serious head injury from falling branches or limbs. Wear ear plugs or acoustic ear muffs to protect your hearing from the high noise level of the saw. A hard hat equipped with protective ear muffs and face screen is even better. -END- תתתתתתתתתתתתתתתתתתתתThe National Dairy Database (1992)תתתתתתתתתתתתתתתתתתתת תתתתתתתתתתתתתתתתתתתתתתת\NDB\OCCSAFE\TEXT2\FILE1006תתתתתתתתתתתתתתתתתתתתתתתת %f TITLE;PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT |
